- Obtained Master’s degree in Surgery from Zhejiang Medical University (1987).
- Earned Ph.D. in Surgery from Zhejiang Medical University (1990).
- Conducted research on tumor angiogenesis and the apoptosis-inhibiting gene survivinat Fukui and Osaka Medical University, Japan (1996–1998).
- Served as Visiting Professor at the Organ Transplant Center of the University of Iowa Hospital, USA (2001).
- Currently serves as Chief Expert of the “Hepatobiliary-Pancreatic Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center” at Ningbo Medical Center Li Huili Hospital and Lead Professor of Clinical Medicine at Ningbo University School of Medicine.

- Expertise in treating liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, and hilar cholangiocarcinoma.
- Principal Investigator for 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and multiple municipal research initiatives.
